Who’s this?

Hi, My name is Shakir and my journey into barbering began at the age of 16.

Back then, like most teenagers, I wasn’t sure of what I wanted to do. So I started a two year Engineering course hoping to find some clarity along the way. Little did I know, my true passion was about to Ignite!

Because somewhere in between lectures and homework I picked up a pair of clippers and discovered a different type of passion… barbering.

During the first year of my engineering course, I started cutting my own hair. what began as a simple experiment, quickly developed into something much more.

I then started to cutting the hair of friends and family members, and the more I did it, the more I realised I found my thing. And as my interest intensified, I spent most of my free time learning about the barbering industry.

Youtube videos, tutorials, everything. I was all in, I wanted to gain as much knowledge as possible.

After completing my engineering course, it was clear where my focus was so I then landed a position at one of the top barbers in high Wycombe Lourenco’s barbershop.

I spent the next six years elevating my craft, expanding my knowledge and focusing on delivering the best service to my clients.
