Who’s this?

Hi, My name is Shakir and my journey into barbering began at the age of 16.

Back then, like most teenagers, I wasn’t completely sure of what I wanted to do. So I embarked on a two year Engineering course hoping to find some clarity along the way. Little did I know, my true passion was about to Ignite!

Because somewhere in between lectures and homework I picked up a pair of clippers and discovered a different type of passion… barbering.

During the first year of my engineering course, I started cutting my own hair. What began as a simple experiment, quickly developed into something much more.

I then started cutting the hair of friends and family members and the more I did it, the more I realised I found my niche, And as my interest intensified, I spent most of my free time learning about the art of barbering. YouTube videos, industry blogs, you name it, I wanted to gain as much knowledge as possible.

After completing my engineering qualification, it was clear where my passion truly lay, so I completed my engineering course and landed a position in one of the top Barbershops called Lourenco’s in High Wycombe.

I spent the next 6 years elevating my craft, expanding my skills and knowledge, striving to offer the very best service to my clients.
